Too hot

A few surprises with this induction cooktop. First, it has a fan under the glass that runs continuously when in operation. If you want quiet (like every other cooktop I’ve had) this isn’t it. Second, even on the lowest setting, soups and strews still bubble. There is no low simmer or keep

Amazing cook top

It is everything I wanted in an induction cooktoop; after two weeks, works like a charm and boils water amazingly fast. There is a slight learning curve on induction, but easily overcome.Note for DIY Install:Cutout was a an inch wider than old coil cooktopThe cooktop's power cable can't easily be removed to attach to old wiring (but fixable with a conduit box and flex connectors).Otherwise easy install.
