Great hose reel

This was our second time buying this hose reel. It is simple to use and works as intended. It is also well made and lasts.

not sturdy

though this holds a longer hose, it is not very sturdy. also there was no hose to connect to outside faucet

horrible return experience

Item was delivered by UPS came in a crushed box covered in oil. I returned it and let me say the returning procedure was a complete hassle!

Should’ve bought it sooner

This makes the hose easy to roll up, and get out of the way. It was very easy to install.

It seems sturdy

I just got this a month ago, n Im using a lightweight hose. It seemed sturdy, but the wheels are already shaking as I roll it to put it away. I'm hoping its not going to break down because I dont want to have to replace it so soon.

A warranty game of inconvenience

First the reel connection itself leaked and then the connector hose did (crack in metal piece)...with this company, it's a warranty game to see how much Suncast can inconvenience a customer before the customer gives up. I uploaded the pics and receipt on their website only to get an email reply asking for the same stuff and more. I'll be returning the entire item and not buying Suncast again.

Works great

I have 50 ft hose up on it and works great. Not sure it will hold anything longer. The Cart itself is quite light and easily winds and unwinds the hose with hand lever.

Works well until it inexplicably snaps in two

Bought this when we moved into our home in July 2021 for our 75’ hose. It worked well until this week when I went to use it and it was collapse on itself. Took the hose out to find out the main shaft had snapped (see picture). How convenient that it was JUST out of the 3 year warranty. I always emptied the hose before reeling it back in to avoid having weight on it. Pretty disappointing that it doesn’t last.

Not as durable as the previous one I have. The plastic is thinner.

Adequate, barely

Shoddy wheels that barely roll on a smooth surface, leaking connection even after replacing hose gaskets. It will do until I can get a metal one.

used around 5 times. side hose poped off , reinstalled it several times, but it keeps popping off. it is now worthless junk

Register warranty or don't buy

Purchased June 19, started leaking from inside drum last week. Please make sure you register for warranty within 90 days of purchase in case you get a bad one too.

Was not easy to use or get the hose on. Then all parts leaked after finally getting them hooked up. The plastic connections will not last they are cheaply made.
