Took way too long to get this product. Ordered in November 2021 and received July 2022. Customer service sucks

Don't waste your $$$

You think this tub is deep until you fill, get in and realize there is no way to keep water from going out tub from overflow which is low. Also the hardware that you have to purchase locks you in to a faulty necessity which is severely aggravating after a couple of years. You can only replace with same faulty product. We have to use a plunger to get the drain out because the pull no longer pulls the drain up.

The tub is very heavy and it's the right size. I am plus size woman and I have a lot of room in the tub.

Big enough for the fam!

We didn't have room in our primary bath for a tub and shower, so went big on the bath-shower combo. We love the size of this tub -- one person can fully submerge -- but we often take baths with our toddler and have plenty of space. Also enough room for 2 to shower. We used zellige tile to tile this in and its beautiful!

Love my Kohler Tea for two bathtub!

We were so happy to find this Kohler Tea for two bathtub on Overstock for a great price! This bathtub has everything we were looking for. It is big enough for even the tallest member of my family. It has a maximum depth to allow for truly long soaks completely submerged. And it fit perfectly in our bathroom design. Definitely recommend to buy when you can as this product is often hard to find in stock.

Didn’t get a reversible drain

So I received my tub months ago, they were setting it the other day and it has a center drain,so they had to saw cut my new slab. Very aggravating, when my order says reversible drain.

After waiting months with delayed shipping it finally arrived and it is amazing! By far the best bathtub I have ever been in in my life. Deep and long enough to be completely covered and the water stays warm forever. I have taken more baths since installing this tub that in the rest of my adult life.

This tub is amazing and huge. Super heavy though and hard to get into some bathrooms. Our contractor had to remove part of a wall to get it in. And then you also have to order the drain assembly which only drives up the cost. But hopefully will last!

Work in progress.

I would definitely recommend the tea for two cast iron tub. It was boxed in a wooden crate and arrived in perfect condition, seriously I have no complaints!

This tub is gorgeous! And huge! It is very deep and very heavy. This bathroom was a remodel so it took some ingenuity to get it too it’s resting place. Make sure you measure several times before purchase. Overall we are very satisfied with this purchase. One thing to know before purchasing is that the drain to the tub is purchased separately and it is pretty pricey especially for a finish other than chrome.

Ultimate comfort in a cast iron soaking tub

Cast iron retains the best for a long soak

I love this tub! Deep enough to drown in--awesome soak.

I opted for this rather than a whirlpool version--nothing to break down. We stuffed lots of insulation around it before building a wall in front to finish it, so it retains heat extremely well. I like cast iron because it holds up better than acrylic. The design is compatible with many different styles. I will buy another if I move and redo a bathroom. I like the tile flange so I can have a shower over it.

Large enough for two people

We picked up the bathtub from the store, then my husband managed to get the tub into the garage by himself, where it sat for several weeks. Then, he had me help turn the tub on it's side (while still in the wood framing for shipping) and put it on two furniture dollies, so we could wheel it to the bathroom. Once we got it to the bathroom, my husband directed me how to assist in getting the tub onto the floor right side up. After removing all of the wood framing and the cardboard cover we came to realize how very large (deep) the tub really is. The tub was in great condition! I am glad that the inside bottom has a very thin layer of built-in non-slip texture. We bought the chrome drain/plug system for this tub. I like the technology that when the drain is closed it is level with the floor of the tub, no part sticking up that has to be avoided when moving around in the tub. The method for opening/closing the drain is by lifting/lowering the overflow lever - very clever. I expect we shall get many years of enjoyment out of this tub.

A few flaws

Absolutely love the size (depth and length), shape and back slant. But after 2 years the drain handle* ($140) no longer works and the metal cover is threatening to come off. The stopper assy* ($20) no longer works. The lift toggle* ($40) is not super easy to move around. I have replaced with a $5 plug so I don't have to deal with any of it. We are adding another bath and even though I love the shape and size, I am searching for a different tub. Just not great quality for those parts. If replacing these after 2 years doesn't bother you, order away. *See Kohler plumbing section to see individual parts I am talking about*
