[Rewarded Review] Signature Hardware Bidet Toilet

I would highly recommend this toilet. It's easy to use, with the remote. The pre wetting of the toilet is a great feature, seems to keep the bowl very clean. Every toilet should do that! The flush system is very effective, very little if any need for a brush & seems to take away odors as well. Kudos! Had to play around with the direction of the water stream for cleaning as to not get water in the back but we got there. My only compliant, if it even qualifies, is that the sensor for opening the lid is super sensitive & if you close it manually thereafter it will flush unnecessarily, wasting water. All in all we are very satisfied & wish we had them for every WC in the house!

Cannot say enough good things about our Vela Plus Smart Toilet! There's no going back now to a regular toilet! The tankless sleek design, automatic features, bidet features, seat temperature, night light and user friendly remote are some of our fav features.

It does it all for you!

This toilet is superb. Auto open/close/flush...heated seat in the cold winter months, what more could you ask for? There is also a night light that is the perfect dimness so it isn't too bright in the middle of the night. The bidet has multiple settings as well- warm/cold water, variation for pressure and placement of water spray is awesome.

Incredible experience with only a small downside

All of the features of this toilet are outstanding. I don’t regret the purchase at all. There are two downsides. 1. The installation instructions weren’t great and I had to redo some work during the process. 2. There is no user manual anywhere and the only true negative of the toilet is that it beeps for everything. Toilet lid goes up, beep, seat up, beep, bidet, beep. There is no instruction anywhere for how to turn it off. It gets old fast.

Stylish with some limitations vs Toto Neorest and half the price

I purchased the Vela Plus to save a couple thousand dollars vs a Toto Neorest. I already have the Neorest in another place, and while the looks of the Vela plus are excellent and competes well with the Neorest, there are several advantages of the Neorest: Memory for settings for different users, a wand control that is more accessible for moving the stream, a more powerful flush mechanism, and more forceful stream. The Vela Plus is easier to install since it comes preassembled, while the Neorest comes as 2 separate units. The method for securing the Vela Plus to the floor can be challenging for a professional and I would not recommend any DYI installs. Drilling into a ceramic tile floor can is required and leveling the toilet onto the floor so it does not move is also important. The Vela Plus is anchored by a very different method than the Neorest, and both have fairly tight restrictions on locations for the water line and even the power outlet. I also needed to replace the first Vela Plus, since it had very fine hairline crack on the inside of the bowl below the water line. This was not noticed until after installation and a few weeks of use. We contacted Ferguson/Build.com and after sharing pictures of the toilet cracks, we were sent a replacement which arrived quickly. No complaints about the excellent customer service from them. We did have to eat the cost of the replacement labor, but it could have been a more difficult situation if they did not quickly replace the Vela Plus. If you are looking for a stylish unit and willing to play with the settings in between uses and handle the control wand to access the settings more frequently and a more competitive price point, this is for you.

I love the new bidet! It has been very helpful since I had back surgery and couldn’t clean myself.
