This did not meet my expectations and has malfunctioned. It stopped running during the high heat with no advance warning because the small water collection tray in the bottom needed to be emptied (it vents most of the condensation out of the large hose through the window and after I followed the instructions, I got the same message in less than 2 hours and it stopped again, and the humidity is only moderate. Called Westinghouse. Will have to wait 24 to 48 hours for assistance. Not good enough. Always had window AC's before. I'm disappointed in how poorly it cools even the small room it's in.

The vent hose was horrible to put on! It does not cool 700sf. Westinghouse's website says this model will cool 450sf. Home Depot's advertising is totally off. The dehumidifier mode keeps cycling on and off. I talked with Westinghouse customer service 3 different times and they don't have a clue why it cycles on and off in dehumidifier mode.

I've not had to use the Westinghouse Portable Air Conditioner much since it was delivered. At first - I was a little disappointed in "The Whisper Mode!" It was making a LOT of sound but, I did some troubleshooting and found that I needed to adjust the wheels because this place is not level. I've not heard the rumbling sound since I adjusted the wheels. I've placed it in the middle of the house and along with my Wind tower's -it does keep it cool enough - almost like I've got Central Air Conditioner. There was NOT a Warranty Card to Mail in so, I copied the information and sent it in today with the Post Office using Certified Mail.
