Solid toilet seat. Beats the plastic!
Easy close, if you've the right tools.
The plastic fastners required a 5/8 tool. My previous seats required only a Phillips head and pluers.

Had less than a yr and the seat itself cracked and broke. No ine in the household over 200lbs
Poor quality, inconsistent design
I had bought what looked like the same item (same make and model) earlier in the year, installed with no problems. Bought two more, and after a week the lid hinge is now completely broken. Poor quality. In addition, the installation hardware is completely different from the original. First one was easy to install, second one almost impossible to install firmly due to the design. I will be returning the third one.
