The Queen of all Queens!

I have a Le Creuset Dutch Oven that I absolutely love. I bought it for myself several months ago. When I saw it on a bridal registry for a friend's son and soon-to-be daughter in law, I knew I had to purchase it for them. The color is absolutely beautiful and the bride is over the moon with this piece. I am thrilled I was able to purchase this for them as they start their lives together!

I’ve always loved Le Creuset but could never afford to buy anything. Eventually I’ll add more to my new collection. I made French onion soup last night. It was the best I’ve ever made! These baking dishes are perfect for my little convection oven. Definitely worth buying if you’re only cooking for one.

Le Creuset is true quality

The Le Creuset classic Dutch oven is just that, classic. It's well made, durable, easy to clean, and best of all, whatever you cook comes out fantastic. You can tell the Dutch oven is made so well, it will last a life time. They say, "you get what you pay for", and in this case that is very true. Le Creuset is expensive, but well worth it!

The iconic French Press

I love Le Creuset's coffee press. Devastated when we broke the one in cerise and opted for one in the soon-to-be-discontinued Meringue as replacement.

COUTESY FREEBIES

I know, I know. It's not really a "freebie." We pay for these in the obscene prices LE CREUSET charges, even sale prices, but it's a nice gesture. They make quality products that are unrivaled in performance, selection, and colors. They need to improve on quality control, and customer service. In the end, I think they do try. They just have to try a little harder at listening to their cusotmer base. That's why these comments, and reviews are important. Thank you.

Absolutely Beautiful!!

Gave this as a Christmas present (2023) to my daughter and she loves it! It's not only easy to cook and make many different dishes (Boeuf Bourguignon, Cassoulet, to name a few), but it is gorgeous to look at and display in the kitchen. Very easy to clean is a major bonus! I myself own several pieces and I gifted this Rhône color to my daughter, and she loves it!

Beautiful and functional ceramic dishware

Le Creuset are excellent ceramic dishes with ability to hold temperatures for a long time. Good for both cooking in the oven and aesthetically appealing to serve the dish in as well. C&B was able to ship this out on time and it arrived carefully packaged. The price from C&B was standard so, you may want to buy it here or somewhere else it wouldn't make a difference.

Excellent quality baking dishes

Excellent quality baking dishes! I use the larger one to slow cook 1.5-2lb chuck roast and other meats. It slow cooks like a charm. The smaller dish comes in handy for baking smaller casseroles or serving. I purchased the white dishes and they are very easy to clean. No stains if you wash them right away. Very happy with my purchase!

Love this Dutch oven

Le Creuset is my favorite cookware! This Dutch oven is perfection. It is heavy duty, cooks evenly, and is beautiful. I use this to bake a chicken, simmer a stew or spaghetti sauce or to cook beans. It can be used to bake a loaf of sourdough bread. This is one of the best purchases for your kitchen.

Arrives broken

They showed up broken TWICE! I called for a replacement, because the first set I ordered for my friend’s birthday arrived broken. No packing materials at all. Put in a huge box, not even a piece bubble wrap. They replaced them and promised they would note that it needs better quality packing. Better packing is apparently a fragile sticker. So the replacement is also shattered. Now, my friend has four broken dishes.

LOVE IT!

I have several Le Creuset casseroles, round and oval and different sizes. My oldest ones I purchased in about 1988 and are a nut brown colour. The latest colour at that time. I have used all of them dozens of times to cook casseroles, braised meats, stuffings, rice pudding, Yorkshire pudding etc etc.

Beautiful Look, Good Press

This is a great press, one that I would buy again. Its size is great for two 12oz cups, so it's wonderful for my wife and I. The only reservation I have about this press is that the filter is somewhat warped. This is my first press, so I have nothing to compare it to. It filters fine, nothing gets through, but I worry that this might get worse over time. It's easy enough to take apart to clean. It's annoying to clean, but I make up that this is the case for all french presses.

Love!

Really love this addition to the kitchen! This was a gift for my mom and so well worth it. I was actually shocked that her off brand 6 quart Dutch oven was HEAVIER then this 9 quart one. The only worry I had when purchasing this one was the weight so was VERY pleasantly surprised that it was a good weight! I just wish I had known that the handle of the lid can only withstand a 400 degree oven, I didn't realize they made different lid handles that withstand different temperatures or I would have gotten the one that can handle the most heat. Besides that the product is exactly as I would have expected in the best way!

Love it! Recommend buying this

I bought this as a present for my husband after we went through 2 glass French presses which eventually cracked. This adds to our small Le Creuset collection but is a very welcome addition. We use this on a daily basis and it washes well by hand or dishwasher. As some other reviewers have mentioned the ceramic helps keep the coffee warmer for longer which is an added bonus. This more robust design is well worth the cost for us. Highly recommend getting this to anyone who's considering a purchase.

Delicious coffee in a beautiful carafe!

Yes, french press takes a few minutes longer than your everyday drip machine, but WOW, the resulting brew tastes better. Being a tea drinker as well, I'm used to boiling water and setting a timer for the perfect steep time, so french press was not a big adjustment for me. I've been really happy with the Le Creuset version since I purchased it several weeks ago on sale. It's beautiful (I got it in yellow...sunshine on my countertop!), easy to use, and cleans up like a dream. Be prepared to play around with the amount of coffee/duration of steeping, to get it just right for your taste. Like any other french press, the carafe does lose heat, but I think the stoneware stays hotter longer than my previous glass version...still, though, if you want your coffee to be warm/hot, drink your brew within 25 minutes or so. I always boil about 8 oz of extra water, to pre-heat the carafe for 60 sec before brewing. It takes very little time, but definitely keeps your coffee hotter, longer. I've also had success tying a thick tea towel around the carafe, to keep some warmth in. Order the smaller size if you'll mostly use the carafe for 1-2 servings at a time. The large size is good for 3-4 servings (and without the plunger/top, the large carafe doubles as a juice or water pitcher at mealtime!). Love this purchase. Will use this for years!
