Not quiet and not good quality.

It is not very quiet. Also, it was hard to install, there was a gap between the unit and ceiling. The contractor had to go buy something else to cover the hole between the unit and ceiling.

Disappointed in Broan RB80L1

Positives: we wanted a fan with a very bright light, and this is it. We like the bright light. The light is dimmer-compatible and those who want a less bright light will need to install an LED compatible dimmer.

Descent Bathroom Fan

The fan is not as quilt as stated and the metal clips don't hold the light cover flush to the ceiling. Unfortunately, I purchased two of the same models.

Good product for the most part

The lighting is bright which was a pleasant surprise. The fan is very quite as advertised. The only reason I could not give the fan 5 stars is the baffle that blocks reverse air flow constantly flaps open and closed when there is a strong wind outside making a audible sound every time. Not too bad during the day but when you are trying to sleep it is annoying. I bought 2 fans and both do it.

Powerful fan

The fan/light unit is attractive & quiet. The light is very bright, which is great. The fan is so powerful that there is literally no steam on the bathroom mirror, which is a first! However, there's a downside to the effectiveness of this fan. In cold weather (I live in MI), I've appreciated getting out of the shower & having the room be warmed by the steam created by the hot shower. This fan is so effective that when I step out of the shower, the room temperature is no different that before my shower, so I'm cold. It's a good thing I just had a heat lamp unit installed!

[Rewarded Review] Easy enough to install

It was far harder for me to uninstall my old fan than it was to install this new one. Once I got the old one out, I just followed the instructions and the pieces fit together nicely. I did end up having to go into my attic, only because the old exhaust vent came loose from the house. I did not connect the night light because my current wiring was only set up for two switches and I wanted the light to come on separately from the fan. If you are ok with the light and fan operating together on the same switch, the second switch can work the night light. The fan is very quiet! I think my husband will always be forgetting to turn it off.
