Used all summer. We need some thing bigger but was glad to have this one fore sure.

Cooling, heating and dehumidifier modes work as expected.

Definitely helped keep my 3 car garage much cooler , but the duct disconnects easily if you try to roll the unit. The duct is also not very long.

Bad air conditioner

I buy this product and don’t work

Only one problem was the AC would shut off randomly when running for long time. The possible root cause was the exhaust fan outlet was restricted. After un-restricting it, I had no issues so far. In monitoring stage now.

Good AC

Wonderful ac but had a knocking sound

The portable air conditioner was delivered quick but when I got it I had to wait 24 hrs before I used it and when I plugged it in it automatically started blowing cold air , as soon as the air conditioner kicked in it made a loud knocking noise . I called 1800Walmart and they sent me the barcode to my email to return it . I returned it the next day and the money was back on my credit card right away !

Cooling product did not work right out of the box. Outlet had power. Replaced batteries with new. Took it back to HD for refund. Waste of time. HD was great.

Do not buy!!!! Black and Decker made a bad model on this one , compressors don’t work properly air doesn’t stay cold not even for an hour ! I have a Black and Decker higher powered model for 750 Sq Ft it stays cold all day and I have a Toshiba that stays cold all day too but this unit is just bad I tried two but both were bad ! Wayfair was good at trying to help with all of this but they do charge shipping to return which isn’t right . Black and Decker should pull these models and discontinue them I hope Wayfair stops selling them so nobody goes through what we did . At the end of the day buy a higher power model people they work better and have better compressors it’s worth a little extra for long term , I hope this helps someone from a bad experience like we had !!!!

Easy to put together and works great for my open concept living room/kitchen.

Purchased in July. It was a good deal considering it has a heater and cost just as much as some units that don't have heat feature. Not as noisy as some reviews say. A box fan is louder. Blows cool strong air. Our room has vaulted ceiling and it cools the room pretty fast. Overall temperature starts dropping within about 5-10 minutes. The a/c turns to fan mode when room reaches set temp and turns back on if temp goes up again. I only wish it had an app to control it with but that's just me not wanting to go upstairs to turn it on. Have not used the dehumidifier or heater yet but I am satisfied with it so far.

Unfortunately I purchased as a gift and she has no windows for hose lives in a rental apt cannot drill a hole anywhere
