Half an exhaust hood

This is a 30 inch hood over a 30 inch induction cooktop but the hood only draws air on one side of the insert, so it's effectively a 15 inch hood. After calling Zephyr I was told this is normal. The exhaust motor behind the vents is mounted on the left side of the unit, with very little clearance and so it cannot draw air from the right side. The "tissue test" demonstrated NO draw from the right side on the highest setting. The company rep state: "well it's only a 300, you have to expect that." Really? It amazes me a company with a good reputation would intentionally market half a hood. If I was aware that only half of the hood would function, I would not have purchased it. Big regrets at this point. Afraid at this point to even try to grill and expect the hood to do it's job. Avoid!

[Rewarded Review] Excellent range hood with powerful motor and LEDs

Works great as a vent, has removable, cleanable air filters. Great LED lights and vent motor has a lot of power. If it were a little quieter it would be the perfect range hood.

This fan looks good and the light is good when turned on but the fan is extremely loud. To the point that we don't use the fan. I would not recommend it.

Rattle

Hood looks nice but the fan has a pretty obnoxious rattle when running

Received and opened box spent about 2 hrs installing ,Lights...

Received and opened box spent about 2 hrs installing ,Lights work good turn the fan and was rattling bad inspected and found 2 of the 3 screws holding the fan on off and the third loose once I installed and tighten screws the fan was quiet.
