It would have been nice to know this thing does not work well on Well Water. when the pressure drops you get cold water, so I'm going to put a tank water heater in and junk this new tankless water heater.

If your old HUGE water tank heater goes out you MUST get a tankless for the price you can not beat it. GOing 2 years strong

Yes, I self installed, but I have installed about 15 to 20 water heaters over the years, so I kinda know what I'm doing. After getting NO help from the manufacturer, I had my neighbors friend, with over 40 years of experience as an electrician recheck everything. He said the install was perfect, but the manufacturer still said it was my problem, and hung me out to dry.

Bought for a whole house solution, works fine for kitchen and showers but cannot keep up with the bathtub (The fill rate is too high) for this unit. Next time I would go with the next higher unit.

The water heats up fine after about 15-20 seconds, but our bathroom lights start flickering as soon as we turn the knob to the hot side. I feel it might be the way our guy set up the connections, so I'm not the water heater is to blame. Still, it does take a while to get hot water, so it doesn't work instantly as described. Upside - the price point is very good! I guess that means you get what you pay for!

Easy to install from a plumbing standpoint. Takes almost no space compared to my old 40 gallon tank and eliminates the concern of leaking.

1st one the bolts attaching the heating element to the water line froze and busted. Unable to find anyone with the same model in stock. Order was canceled without notification way due to not in stock when the supplier advertised it was in stock ready to ship.
