Zline Customer Service Has Ghosted Me

We remodeled and our builder installed the KN4-30. It worked fine for about a year and then the buttons that you push on the front of the fan popped out. No idea how or why and we can't figure out how to put them back in. We create Zline case 00606360 on 10/11/2023 and they responded two times asking for pictures and then a video. Both we provided. We have not heard from them even since 10/22/2023 even though we have followed up multiple times. Can't use it and looks terrible as is.

Loved It - Until the Lights BROKE

I loved my ZLINE KN4-30 Island Hood that I selected for my 2019 major kitchen remodel. In about December 2022, the lights started FLASHING instead of just being steady ON. I watched a few YouTubes, but then contacted ZLINE for advice on fixing this problem. The VIDEO link IS NOT FOR AN ISLAND HOOD -- HOUSING IS DIFFERENT, and DXing lights did not work. Next, I would have to UNINSTALL the hood to fix; would take 3 people. Idk how this "convertible" feature would work.

Gorgeous addition to our kitchen

The hood fits perfectly into the theme of our 100 year old farm house. The option to add the stainless steel moulding was the perfect touch. We only have 7' ceilings so had to purchase the short ceiling kit in addition to the hood. We went with the recirculating option and while it does a good job we mY end up doing a direct vent as we can still set off the smoke detector! It's not a quiet fan by any means but it is great quality for a very reasonable price.

Even though the Zline range hood is out of warranty, I did not realize that it would be next to impossible to purchase parts for the unit. I need to replace an 8" wire connecting the LED bulb to another wire because the pin socket for the LED bulb connection was not making a secure fit with the LED pins. As a result of not fitting securely, the bulb sometimes does not light. I contacted Zline Customer Service and was told that I had to purchase a kit for $39 that included the bulb, light and transformer. The simple wire connector that I needed was not sold separately. Needless to say I did not think it was prudent to spend $39 for an 8" wire connector when what I need should cost less than $10.

Lovely and so well made!

After hunting high and low for a beautiful range hood for my new kitchen I came across this one and was really pleased to see the price. It was just what I was looking for AND it included the fan system. I received it quickly after ordering and couldnt wait to open the box and take a look. I was thrilled to see it is just as lovely as it looks online. I dont have it up yet as my kitchen hasnt been started yet. I will take a picture and post here as soon as the kitchen is complete. Do not hesitate to purchase this. Its awesome.

Very nice unit. No nonsense push buttons with a speed indicator. The only complain is the noise generated by the air flow. It is O.K. on 3rd and 4th speed but on 1st and 2nd could be running slower. The motor though runs very smooth and is well balanced.

Sleek and clean lines

I bought this hood and just installed it in my newly renovated kitchen. Hoping to host Christmas 2018 in my home, I had to rush to get my kitchen done. When it came time to install the hood, I opened the box and took it out of all the packaging and noticed that there was a good size dark scratch on the top side of the hood. There was another dark scratch, but smaller, on the other side of the top. I was let down by this but I was forced to continue with the installation if I wanted to host Christmas at my home. I continued with the installation of the hood since the scratch cannot be noticed unless you are a very tall person or are standing on a ladder looking down. Other than this, I really like the hood and the lighting it gives. I like that the 2 bulbs on are the front end of the hood, and not the back, like other models have. I also like the powerful motor it has.

Looks Great and functions very well. Noise level is good. Installation is not as easy as the simple instructions would have one believe. A slightly bowed wall or uneven soffit make for big adjustment problems. I am not completely happy with the way the chimney sections nest with the blower assembly. I never could get my chimney to remain tight near the wall and the instruction are not very clear about this aspect, so the chimney sides just float in place. The Z-line office was not helpful in resolving this issue.

I've had this for about a year, and love it more every day. It vents through the wall, a very short distance, so I may have exceptionally good results, but it's terrific. I use very strong eucalyptus oil in my bath, about 10 ft. from the vent, and all I have to do is open the door, turn on the vent, and the smell goes away. When I make coffee to the side of the stove, the steam whisks away. Can't praise it enough!! And when installing, I accidentally threw out a part, and the store sent me a replacement immediately, no charge. Love, love, love! As do my visitors and family and...
