While installation went easily (very similar to the previous model installed), quality disappoints. The air coming out was warmer (51F) than our 3 and 6 year-old other units. That's not to mention the annoying high-pitch sound that the machine makes when the compressor is running.

Small but effective

I had limited window height so I didn’t have many options but I am very happy with this unit. It cools the room quickly and is not too noisy.

Love the remote and some of the features but; the air conditioner is very noisy, because of the noise level from the AC it is difficult to hear the TV while watching without turning the volume up when the AC is on. We made this purchase because it said it was a quiet AC. Our old AC was much quieter and it was 20 plus years old but we wanted to upgrade.

Good for price

Good product, a little loud but overall worth the money

Too Loud

This AC is a small guy and fits nicely in the window. Features are nice and even has an alarm that alerts you to clean the filter. For the price-it cools well. I gave 3 stars because it is so loud. I’m not usually sensitive and can tune out constant background noise, but this is too much. We need to raise our voices or tv to hear over it. I wish I knew this and I would have spent a little more to get a quieter one.

Perfect window AC

Perfect window AC. I need some sort of fan/white noise to sleep and it also fulfils that requirement for those who are shopping and are like me! lol

My new Frigidaire 5000BTU A/C is small, lightweight and efficient. It cool fast and I like the large open vents. The auto shut off when the room meets its target temperature helps with saving electricity. Unlike my old clunker that kept running until powered off. For a small room, it’s perfect. My only sad thing is the noise in high fan it still louder than anticipated. But I keep it on a lower fan when sleeping and it is quite quiet.
