I bought two of these so that I can keep up with pets upstairs and downstairs. The steam feature makes the floor feel really clean and dries super fast. If your floors get super dirty like mine, you can vacuum then mop with an old school string mop and bucket and then go over it again with this for a truly obsessive-compulsive clean. Great for touch ups and accidents too.

I loved it for the 1st 6 months, no issues. It's used 1x a month. Month 7 it was leaking. Month 8, I pour liquid in and it pours out into my floor. I can't use it. Hopefully the manufacturer can troubleshoot what's wrong. If it would hold the solution all would be well. Cost too much $$ for this issue so early.

Not made for a home with pets

Overall I wish I could rate this product higher but I really can't. We registered for this product on our wedding registry and I fully regret it. While our vacuum/steam mop has worked, I think its design was not well executed.

Great for pet hair and tiled floors!

This steam mop cuts down my floor cleaning time considerably and I only need to use demineralised water. I don’t have kids or particularly gunky floors but, I do have a lot of animal hair, smudgy paw prints and light drips and spills here and there. For this the Symphony Pet is fantastic and my tiles shine afterwards. I wouldn’t use this on any significant or chunky wet spills like cereal or soup as, it’s just not made for it. I find the Bissel doesn’t leave water marks if I use the steam trigger occasionally to just dampen the mop head. Otherwise the floor gets very wet and I have to dry it manually as I have light cream tiles that highlight water marks/streaks. The only reason I gave this 4 starts is I dislike the rubber edges of the mop head. This rubber leaves marks on my skirting boards because it is very soft and comes off easily. The rubber marks are easy to remove but do mean bending over in many places. Otherwise this is a great vacuum mop.

I didnt think I was going to like the mop, the wheels stop the disposable pads from getting close. Half way through the house, it started steaming very nicely and cleaned well. Vacuum was nice forcthe hair balls that show up from my dogs after vacuuming.

i LOVE my symph!

ngl, i thought it was gonna spread gunk around and not clean thoroughly but i was wrong. it vacuumed up things while steam cleaning the floors and leaving the floors so clean! the dirt cup is soooo easy to clean too. the little handle you push to clean the dirt cup is a game changer! i am beyond happy with my little symph! so worth it :)

Great product for a busy home

We use this product to both vacuum and steam clean our kitchen/laundry room floors. It works great on removing the dirt/fur and etc. from the traffic of six people, a cat, and a dog. I love it! We've had Bissell steam products in the past and loved the results. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's pretty loud and the head doesn't swivel.

Makes cleaning floors so much easier

Love the way this machine vacuums and steam cleans at the same time. I dont miss mopping at all!! i have a little spray bottle with smell good cleaner. I spray it on the floor and go over it with steamer. It doesn’t vacuum corners or around baseboards very well.

I have a large kitchen/dining area. The floor is covered in vinyl. As a senior citizen with health issues I honestly could not sweep and mop the entire floor at one time. The vacuum/steam mop is very light weight and easy for me to handle. It glides so smoothly that I can do it all at one time. I was super impressed that the steam mop easily got up some dirt that had been there for an embarrassingly long time with minimum effort.

The best thing for cleaning bare floors

We recently built a new house with luxury vinyl floors . We purchased this Steam cleaner to help keep the floors clean. It is very easy to use vacuums and steam cleans at the same time. The floors are beautiful after cleaning and it is done in a breeze. It is my new favorite thing. Such a time saver. So glad we purchased it.

The vacuum's steam is weak but the vacuum suction is good. The reusable mop pads are very expensive and hard to find (the smell good kind)- (without paying a higher price) The reusable pads shrink when you wash them. But it's does make your floors ( Especially your hardwood floor) very clean looking.

I bought two of these mops, one for the home and one for the my salon. I have a puppy and I’m having to use it more than I would like and is handling the job. The one I bought for the salon is great! I have an Eyevac and that takes care of the bulk throughout the day. Then a quick run through with this and it’s steamed for hygiene, and the dust and small hair pieces are gone. I’m pretty happy with it , I do suggest buying extra mop pads. I actually mop twice

My husband bought my sister and myself each a bissell symphony, and we are both very happy with them. We are in our late 60's and have tile floors throughout our houses. We couldn't believe what a great job the symphony did vacuuming and cleaning our floors, with very little effort on our parts.

Not super happy with this purchase. I watched a lot of YouTube reviews on this before buying it and I feel pretty let down. I also have a shark steam mop with rotating mop pads and I heavily prefer that to this. It does steam up nicely but you’re definitely not cleaning a dirty floor with this mop. Sanitizing, maybe. But we live in an artist loft with concrete floors throughout and this does not get the job done, unfortunately.

This does a decent job...for what it is. If I could change a few things, it'd use a microfiber cloth instead of a terry cloth. I'd also have the water heat up a bit more, it does a good job with steam, but you won't see the steam coming out the sides as if it were a more powerful (and $$$) steamer. I use it to steam clean my wood floors every few months. I feel better using the steam to disinfect my floors. For the price, I'd say this does what it's supposed to. It's not going to get deeper into the floor and help really remove the dirt that gets into the cracks and crevices.

OMG!!! I'm In LOVE with this vacuum/steamer. It works amazing and is literally effortless to use. The only negative feedback is that you can't turn the steam function off and use the vacuum function alone on carpet. You can only use this vacuum on hard surfaces, so you will need another regular vacuum for your carpeted areas.

When I got this product, it came very badly shipped. The box was crushed with a big hole in it. I carefully opened it and everything was there. I have used it several times and love it. It's a little heavy to carry it but I'm ok with that because it does a wonderful job. We have senior dogs that have accidents and it's nice to vacuum and steam at the same time!! I originally bought it for our camper but I don't think it will make it to the camper lol!!

Power and Low Weight Tool for Hardwood cleaning

I am a big fan of BISSELL design and the steam mop follows that great design with easy access, power and weight distribution. The steam mop also has a powerful vacuum feature that pulls an excess water and dirt, hair and small debris. What a perfect add to a steam mop. Our hard wood floors in the kitchen, dining room, entry way and family room are looking great after holiday parties, pets and teenagers. The weight with water is not so heavy it is difficult to use. It is very maneuverable and the recommended demineralized scented cleaner gives the room a nice but not overwhelming smell.

Defective (maybe returned) product

I literally just received it and opened it. The inside looks a bit used but I still put everything together first. The vacuum works but the steamer never worked. I waited for 60 secs and it only had the clicking noise. After waiting for 10 mins, not a bit of steam came out. I then proceed to start the return and realized I had to pay $5 to return an already broken product. If I changed my mind, I understand that I needed to pay but I was shipped a defective product to begin with. Now I have to take my time and effort to put everything back together and drive to return the product. What a waste of my time. I thought Bissell is a big name company and I trusted it's products before but not anymore!
