Flawed design

Machine was a fail the first year with the descaling light not shutting off , GE replaced it , then the second machine had a faulty grinder within a years . GE would not stand behind the second machines issue . Disappointed in the company

Updates on Deteriorating Machine Conditions

A few days ago, I called GE to request help with troubleshooting. They told me the only suggestion for my issue is to descale the machine, which I did before calling. And then they said it’s over one year, the machine is out of warranty. They said it’s small appliance, and so there’s nothing they can do. (Yes, a considerably expensive small appliance with incredibly short warranty yet extremely poor quality). I then wrote a review online, noting that coffee was leaking from behind the spout, in addition to the full volume coming out correctly from the spout. In response, GE sent me a troubleshooting email—but, unbelievably, they sent instructions for a completely different type of coffee/espresso machine. The condition of my machine has now worsened just after a few days since the first issue started; the coffee is barely warm, even though the brew temperature is set to the highest level. This is, without question, the worst product I have ever purchased. I will never buy another GE product again. I cleaned the coffee brew system monthly and descale whenever advised by the app. Despite this, this machine, costing over $600, has lasted only a year and four months.

Beautiful Design, Poor Quality

We purchased this coffee maker 10 months ago. It is the perfect size and design for our kitchen but the descaling feature required to properly maintain the coffee maker has failed. We have spent 4 hours on the phone with GE to troubleshoot. They are sending us a replacement but it has been such a hassle.

Failure?

Less than a year - machine keeps saying it needs to be descaled. Can't find support through CB or manufacturer. I was told to try and return the HEAVY product since it's been less than a year.

Machine Stopped Working Just Over A Year

I am surprised that the rating is so good. Are these reviews masked? You can find issues people reported online. It’s only been over a year, and so my machine is just 4 months outside of the warranty period. Coffee is coming out full volume from the spout but also behind the spout. Clearly it has nothing to do with the spout being clogged. GE says it’s out of warranty and nothing can be done. Yes it is small appliance, but given that’s a machine over $600, the maintenance offers should be much better than the response I am given. I was offer a GE discount membership or something which who will care? I would not want to spend any money ever again on a GE product.

DO NOT BUY - YOU CANNOT REPAIR IT IF IT BREAKS

The machine is good when it works but you cannot repair it if it breaks after the warranty expires

1st machine lasted about 8 months and the replacement about 2 months.

Great machine with some minor issues

This is a great machine. I love that the grinder is built in and there isn't some weird milk attachment compartment. Coffee tastes great. However, the descaling light refuses to turn off no matter how many times I descale the machine. This drives me crazy. Also, the words on the top of machine rub off with cleaning. It's so nice to ditch the pods, but they really need to tweak this machine just a bit.

Easy to use, great espresso!

We absolutely love this espresso machine. We have a young kid and wanted delicious homemade espresso, fresh-ground beans, but lacked the time to do each meticulous step with one of the more hands-on machines. This is the perfect solution for us and we are super happy with it!

Amazing coffee machine with great features

What an amazing way to wake up to coffee I love this coffee machine. I love being able to wake up in the morning and have an espresso cuppa coffee.

Great while it lasted

The machine worked great for 2 years and then completely stopped working. For the two years it worked, it was great but I am highly, highly disappointed that a coffee machine that expensive would stop functioning after two years.

Horrible

We paid $729 for this countertop paperweight. The machine leaves a mountain of unused grindings in the holding tray and leaves a big mess in the side access door. Called for tech support, they said that I would receive an email the same day requesting images and documentation. Never received the email, called the next day and explained to them I never received the email, the agent stated that I didnt receive the email due to the machine being out of warranty, we purchased it in Oct. 2022. I told her that I didnt need warranty support, but I needed tech support, she said that they do NOT have tech support. I am left with pile of junk. Do not buy this product! I would give it 00 stars if possible. I tried to attach images after one use but was not allowed.

Machine doesn’t work

Second machine received in 5 days and same issue with both machines, notice to add water will not allow the machine to work must unplug to reset and after 1 draw happens again. Customer service stated this happens and I should return it for another. Not going for machine 3 very disappointed in the service and the product.
