[Rewarded Review] Café dishwasher

My dishwasher was was installed in September 19th, it stoped working after 3 weeks, I asked the GE company for a service, the appointment they gave me was in 10 days. The technician came on and ordered some parts. And gave me an other appointment to came back and install new parts for November 15th. Then canceled and rescheduled for November 18th! I don't know if it's going to fix the problem yet! But I haven't had dishwasher for 50 days now and I'm super disappointed.

Average dishwasher

Ordered a brand new dishwasher. Within 3 weeks of installation, it was leaking all over the floor. Repairman could not exactly determine the issue but knew it was from a faulty door. After many phone calls in dealing with the appliance store where I purchased it, they were able to order a new one. It has been installed for a few weeks with no issues as of yet.

Terrible service and dishwasher

Ge service came out twice due to a BRAND new dishwasher leaking and they basically were no help. Stated diagnostic test looks good and nothing seems to be wrong! Wasted my time waiting around for these people to tell me there is nothing wrong with dishwasher. Meantime I have a useless dishwasher unable to use bc it LEAKS and starting to damage my New hardwood kitchen floor. Don’t tell me I need to trouble shoot ( from a previous review) bc there is an obvious defect that Ge. Would like Ge to replace this piece of garbage bc I’m fed up with this company having no reliability.

Disappointed customer

Had dishwasher for 3 months and already noticed it leaking on bottom and right and left of door. Had Ge repair technician come and “found” nothing wrong. Basically stated I was stacking the dishes wrong which caused it to drip water externally?!? Trail run after he left and ran dishwasher without dishes was fine, loaded with dishes correctly as I did before and leaked again, emptied dishes and ran another wash without dishes again and leaked again! Very unhappy with this product and hope next technician to come out can address this issue and or replace my BRAND new dishwasher!

Worst product ever!

Worst dishwasher ever! Stay away! Read the other reviews about leaking. We've been dealing with this leaky washer for over 6 weeks. The GE tech guy has come to "fix" the problem at least 4 times now. Even after applying goopy silicone everywhere inside this expensive dishwasher, they can't fix the problem nor are they willing to replace the dishwasher. They just keep rescheduling the tech guy which wastes weeks of time. Meanwhile I have an unusable dishwasher. Ridiculous GE! If I had a choice (which I didn't as this was a new home build), I would choose another brand.

Very quite

Very quiet. looks great and does a good job washing.

Very Quite and fast

I am looked for a while for a good quality dishwasher. I hope cafe dishwasher will last for long time. I am happy with how quite this dishwasher is. It was important to me to have a good dishwasher with good energy saver and water saver. Furthermore, it fits my mixing bowl for my attachment from the mixer.

A little disappointed

I guess I expected more since the reviews were pretty decent. I am finding that this dishwasher is not as quiet as I thought it would be. I am getting decibel levels in the low 50s. The top dryer rack is so stiff that I feel like I have to tug to pull it out. Now the dishwasher does get my dishes clean and dry, no issues there. Just a bit annoyed with the other things not functioning better.

Seems like Junk

Why are the racks so chintzy on an $1100 dishwasher? The build quality of this thing is horrendous. The tines on the racks are so thin, I can't imagine them lasting more than a few years. The whole upper and lower racks flex under normal use. It really does seem extremely cheap.

Worst dishwasher I’ve ever owned

Had issues with this dishwasher from day 1… beeps erratically and starts/stops constantly. Extremely unreliable. Contacted GE who sent out a repair person twice and replaced every electronic component inside and still not fixed. The repair guy noted in his report that the dishwasher was fixed when it obviously wasn’t and said there was nothing else that could be done until a software update is sent out by GE with no timing specified. Completely unacceptable…how could a company sell a product that doesn’t work properly and say “maybe it will be fixed in a future software update” so just deal with it!?Instead of replacing now they want to send someone out again and tear the thing apart yet again after a month - on a literally brand new unit. I have zero confidence in this product and fact they didn’t replace this right away is truly unbelievable. Avoid at all costs.
