Disappointed, enraged, frustrated, and contact - B

Follow-up to previous review. The customer service rep at JCP was NOT helpful, at all; she merely appeared to be reading from a script, and JCP refused to reimburse me. Presently, the unit is with the manufacturer, as eas instructed. I no longer trust JCP, nor Colby, the manufacturer. I am now out about $400 and JCP, which I have been a customer for over 40 years, is NOT crediting my account. Disappointed, enraged, frustrated, and contacting The Better Business Bureau.

Disappointed JCP would sell such faulty equipment.

I purchased this portable a/c on 16 July, 2024, it was delivered on 23rd July. On 14 Sept, motor made a loud metal grinding noise, kicked out electrical switch, and would repeat same actions. I discovered metal louvers inside was rusted. Disappointed JCP would sell such faulty products.

Shipping mishaps

I purchased this on August 15 and have not received. Today is September 4. I called them and the unit got shipped back to them due to some clearance process. The unit was literally was 30 minutes from where I live. There was no address issue because I have ordered from QVC in the past with no issues. Not sure why a portable A/C has to go through some clearance check. Was not given any updates as well.

Wouldn’t recommend

Came broken and the replacement got lost and now waiting on another replacement

stopped working within a month

wont blow any air anymore. waste of money

pushed out cold air awesome! just a little noisy,was worried it was broken, but seems to be ok so far, have warranty on ot just in case.

I would not buy this product again

The product was very noisy I've vowed the directions I had to put it together and when I turned it on the fan made a loud noise I. Could? Hear. It downstairs in my living room
