Bad quailty it broke in 14 months

Expensive and the ac is made out of the cheapest materials. Everything on this ac are so fragile. This ac replaced a 32 year old friedrich khul ac The front panel is made with the thinnest plastic and the same goes for any part in the part. If you are not careful and dont' treat the front panel's part with the highest care they would break like stick made out of sugar . The manufacturer says it's quite, they must be deaf. If you put it on high , it's like being a jumbo plane. It is extremely very loud. So much money and after 14 month it stopped to cool my apt. It's in the shop now for repairs. The only reason I bought this it's because it has the slide out feature for the purposes I needed it. There so many other choices and today all acs are made with same cheap parts but they are cheaper.

Good Air Conditioner

Really good air conditioner. It's doing a fantastic job and is controllable through it Friedrich app.

Too loud but works well.

The only comment I have that I don't like is that the machine is very loud. But it definitely is keeping our house cool.

AC warranty replacement

Bought this “in/through the wall” AC unit. Less than two years ago. Bought the extended warranty. About two months ago it wasn’t blowing cold air. Called PC Richard and got an appointment within a week for a 3rd party contractor technician to come and determine the issue. Contractor came and said there was an issue with the Freon (leak). It was not repairable but was replaceable. I had to pull it out of the sleeve/cage and bring it to the store. Luckily they had one in stock. They had to take the new one out of the cage (because my cage is in my wall) and I brought it home and installed it. Now, since it was under the extended warranty, they said the warranty was over and I had to purchase a new extended warranty, since it was a replacement. It works as it should but wished I had purchased a more quiet AC model.

Baby It's Cold Inside

it has been two weeks. unit works beautifully. got 12,000 btu s for 400 sq ft room. installers did a neat job cutting through my brand new vinyl siding. AC kicks on quickly. remote handy.

Insufficient cooling for area.

The 12000 BTU does not sufficiently cool the living room. I should have bought a higher BTU model. The living

Very powerful ac unit. I do wish they fit in the old hole in the wall which they are much smaller now. No one from friedrich ever did answer my emails

Works great, love the remote and all the settings, just disappointing because it is loud and noisy. Bought this brand because my previous unit was purchased in 1999 and the compressor finally went out. Not the same quality.

Ordered two window units. Both came in on time and with record speed in fact because of free two-day shipping. They are now installed and working perfectly. Excellent quality and value, very powerful. A little bit nosier than my previous model. But more compact and has wifi. I installed thru the wall with no issues.
