[Rewarded Review] Paid $1,000 for dead-on-arrival brick

The cooktop was dead on arrival. Frigidaire confirmed that this is a factory defect: jumpers were reversed on the control board, which caused a short. Now I'm trapped in an endless cycle of technician visits that fail to fix the problem. Neither Frigidaire nor the distributor will just do the easy, right thing and replace it with a new model. So I'm stuck with something that was made broken. 50 days and counting without a repair or replacement. Basically I paid $1,000 for a brick.

wow! incredible fast heat.

5 and 1/2 quart pot, 3/4 full, incredible fast boil in 3 minutes 45 seconds. so fast of a boil I could not get my hand over the top of it to add the pasta. I had to turn it down to add it.

Overall, a significant upgrade over my old gas stove! Boils water very quickly, safer with the kids, and limits indoor air pollution.

It is so different from the coiled cooktop, even my teenage kids were cooking their own meal because they are not worried abt fire! Item exceeded my expectation

I have had glass cooktops and coil cooktops. This induction cooktop beats them all. It heats quickly and saves so much time when boiling a large pot of water when cooking pasta. An added bonus was that I got all new pots and pans!

Chose this for the sleek design and price point. It looks great in the kitchen. First time with induction and absolutely love this feature. It takes very little time to boil a pot of water. No knobs is great for cleanup. Easy to install, fit perfectly into existing spot.

I have had this for about 2 weeks and i love it so far, it cooks really fast and looks amazing!

Works just as well as I'd hoped

Controls are easy; it provides the 4 "burners" we wanted and they work as advertised. Induction stoves ROCK -- so fast to boil, so easy to control, no gas fumes to poison our lungs! Plus we got a rebate from BayRen -- check that out if you are in the Bay Area!

Speedy cooking and clean up.

We have had this cooktop for 18 months and absolutely love it. It heats up quickly, cooks with even heat and cools down quickly as well. Very easy cleanup is a positive side effect to cooking with Induction. My only suggestion would be to add the word “Induction “ somewhere on the top of the cooktop so people know at a glance it is an “Induction “ cooktop and not just an electric cooktop!

Cooktop is very loud but satisfactory. Haven’t used it much.

A remarkable device, attractive, works beautifully

Stove has a fairly load humming noise when heating up. This is common with all induction stoves but it was loader than I expected.

Will buy again.
