Excellent grill for the price

I upgraded to the Genesis S-435 from my old Spirit II, and I absolutely love it. I was hesitant to spend $1,000 more than my old grill at first, but the S-435 is worth every extra penny. Build quality is excellent... probably 5x better than the Spirit II, and I expect this one to last a very long time. The 12-year warranty is awesome. Cooking quality is also excellent with very quick and very even heating. Lastly, I really like the Weber Crafted collection. I bought the flat top, grill basket, and searing grate so far. Having these accessories really makes it easy to do all of the cooking on the grill and minimize trips back to the kitchen.

Falls short in perf based on my experience

So less than a month with a new Weber E-435 and not worth the hype. I paid $1300 for this and could have purchased something cheaper. The grill does not get hot enough. I came from a DCS grille and could cook a steak in 3-4 minutes. After the hurricane destroyed my DCS, I asked my friends who have Webers and said they were good.... I guess if maybe if you always drove a Hugo and moved up to a ford it is good. I bought my kid a Nexgrille(stainless), and the performance is the same for 1/3 the price. The Weber was not defect free, the doors were warped (Weber addressed), the ignitor on side burner is dubious and issue with left burner. The grille itself looks fine, and the touch places feel good. But to me, it is not worth it due to the grill falling short in performance based on my experiences and no one can challenge that.

Well I have to start off by saying I was a BK owner for at least 30 years and thought I would be for life. I am happy to say that has changed!! I have only owned my Weber for a month now and I look for reasons to have to use it!!

Not worth the price

Extremely difficult and time consuming to assemble. Decent quality of materials but the knobs feel cheap.

AMAZING!!!

I have had mine for nearly a year now and I use it MINIMUM once a week. I do BIG cooks and small and it still runs and operates as if it were brand new.

It’s a great grill, very well constructed and heats up incredibly fast. Lots of space for whatever you are cooking.

Best grill ever

By far the best gas grill I have ever owned. It was a breeze to put together. It’s big, and it is fantastic. And the sear grate is amazing. I also got the griddle, but haven’t had a chance to use it yet. I’m sure it will be fantastic as well.

Excellent choice for flexibility in cooking! From cooking, searing, the griddle and vegetable basket. I've been extremely pleased.

Rust on New Grill

My grill was delivered rusty and nobody spoke up because I wasn't available to inspect it before the Home Depot handyman left.. All I get is an AI response from Weber via email. I used some metal cleaner to get most of the rust off. Frustrating. It's just I bought something new and it was a little beat-up. Weber doesn't appear to care.

Beautiful!!!!!! Last one still working after 15 years, this is just an upgrade.

Back to the good old days!

Love the new BBQ. I have been buying Weber for years. This BBQ is back to the quality of the past with the cast iron grates. My previous purchase is stainless steel (new one with cast iron is at the cottage) and old used at home. I almost feel like swapping them out. Purchased the griddle attachment which wasn’t available on the old model.

Critter holes!

Great quality and warranty but too many places for critters to crawl into. Will try to fix myself with hardware cloth.

Worth it.

Starts up every time, has a huge cooking area, and holds a consistent temperature. We've used it as an oven and a grill. Really glad we went with a Weber.

Wonderful grill- Weber doesn't disappoint

Had to replace our last Genesis due to tree damage. This model is a bit bigger and more BTUs

It arrived with rust on it. Weber advised I could clean it myself and sent me a list of steel polishing cleaners I could buy. They did not wish to honor the warranty. I had it assembled while working. I couldn’t inspect it. The whole process and Weber customer service stunk.

Great grill with manufacturing defects

Feature-wise it's great. Very convenient compression connection. It fell short of living up to its price tag with a warped left door that doesn't close and a deformed right side extension that doesn't line up with the rest of the grill. Now I have to spend time filing a claim with Weber.

My second Genesis. Hopeful it will do as well as the one I hade previously.
