Wish I had not made this purchase.
Worked well 1st season, put it back in the window a couple weeks ago, blowing hot air. Took out a 3yr protection ploan TCL, getting a total run around trying to file a claim.

I was hesitant to buy this because of reviews, I bought it last summer and it’s still going as strong as day one! We have to keep it set on 72° because any lower you have icicles growing! Great brand! Sometimes I put it in eco mode when my husband isn’t home bc I get so cold!

A little nosey but I like white noise when I sleep. I had 2 Dandy portable air conditioners. 12,000 and 6,000 and this window one does a way better job than those 2. Never buy a portable air conditioner. They’re expensive and don’t work well at all!
Great Air conditioner!
I bought this air conditioner about one month ago. I was using a portable air conditioner and it wasn't cooling the area. I installed this window air conditioner and I hate to complain but I have had to put a sweater on because it works so well!! It was not a problem to install and it didn't need outside supports. the support that came with it to attach to the window worked beautifully. I can happily recommend it.
WINDOW AC VS. FLOOR MODEL AC
TCL is a top notch 10,000 Window AC. I bought it to replace a Honeywell 10,000 BTU Floor Model AC that I purchased last year. I learned a valuable lesson, don't waste your money on a Floor Model AC, it does not compare to a window ac. Within 5 minutes of installing the window AC my apt was cool, something I just could not achieve with the floor model AC. I would recommend the TCL Window AC.
