Good unit, with some notes

Awesome: assembled easily, really chilled down the room

Do not recommend

First unit lasted a day and started to make a loud thinking noise. Warranty support sent a new unit. Unit only lasted a month or so past warranty. Control board melted.

The warranty process was very efficent.

Unit is 6 months old and blowing warm air. Bought this as a chiller for a small, attic data room, about 30 sqft and well-sealed, other than a ceiling vent to allow the hot air to escape as the cold air is pumped in. Also paid the extra $400 for the "SRCOOLNETLX" remote monitoring/control unit.

We buy this unit again and again

This is our third unit. It work perfectly for our need from 2012 to today.

I would not buy again

Longevity of the unit is poor and good luck getting manufacturer to stand behind their warranty. A total failure on their part to stand behind their product.

Great to have in a pitch

Great to have in a pitch when the AC goes out in the server room.

Perfectly working AC unit

Bought this product for ongoing project at the casino. Works great and cools the room nicely so servers and switches can work 24/7. It's a bit bulky but worth it!

This product is very strong and give you a great cooling system that will cover all the conference rooms.

The installation was very simple and user friendly. This product can be set up by anyone. The instructions are very detailed, and the air conditioner has dropped the rooms temperature significantly within ten minutes of it running.

Great AC for the server room!

Have had a couple of these before and they have all worked great. This was a replacement for a unit that had broke down finally after 4 years of continuous service. If I didn't have confidence in Tripp Lite products, I wouldn't be buying them again. Great service, techs, and products.

Throw away units

As many have said, these will only last a couple of years and then you basically have to fill a landfill with them. It would be a great product if replacement parts were available for them.

This product needs upgrades

This product needs to have aluminum blowers (not plastic) and a replaceable control board. Parts that are easy to replace. Having to replace often isn't good for environment

Pre-sales, after-sales and support are amazing, and the AC is just the best on the market

This was a replacement for a unit that had failed after over three years. Being an Air Conditioner it should be repairable and then become a spear.
