It’s a great upgrade to what we had in the house (50 year old valve). I had access to the back of the wall while remodeling an adjacent bathroom, so I installed this valve in reverse to leave the tile intact. Easy in and it works great. Get the shutoff valves! You’ll be happy you did.

Shower Valve - Easy Install and Good Features
This replaced a previously installed control during a shower remodel. I chose this control because it includes the hot & cold stops (built in shut offs) which make future maintenance easier - should the cartridge need to be replace, no need to turn off house water, it can be done directly at the control valve. This model uses MIP and PEX crimp on connections. The PEX connections make for quick and easy connection to hot and cold supply lines.

Anytime im installing a shower valve I use this product. Cannot go wrong with delta
Delta R10000-PXWS
A neat valve roughin with stops. It was mounted as a retrofit replacing a Waltec three knob tap set. Delta did a great job on the valve as when fitted onto the 2x4 backing the trim plate was flush with the outside of the drywall. In my case no additional shimming was required. When fitted with the REX conectors it was easy to use cinch clamps to connect to the water system. I married this with a Delta Lahara Monitor 17 and covered the whole works with a Moen Contractor’s Plate. The Delta products were of excellent quality and the Plumbingonline Team were quick to process and ship my order. I’ve used Plumbingonline before and I am exceedingly pleased with the prompt service and support.
