Keeping my basement dry and it's not that loud. Very good de-humidifier, happy up to this point. Delivery to my store was relatively quick and the folks at the counter were very good with welcoming me and had customer service skills. Overall a pretty good experience.

We bought this in 2021. Lasted 1-1/2 seasons. Manufacturuer made us jump through a few hoops, but replaced the unit free of charge (within warrantee). Replacement unit lasted 1-1/2 seasons and manufacturer said..."too bad". We got a total of 3 seasons out of this unit.

Unit is keeping my basement dry and odorless. The option of continuous drain with a hose is why I initially bought the unit and also the smaller size for a small basement area. I've only had it a month but am very happy with it.

My rating is based on the design, apparent construction quality, and noise level. It's seems to make about the same noise as other dehumidifiers in the same class, maybe slightly quieter but it's hard to say for sure. But the drain bucket design is really simple, and the controls are intuitive and simple as well. If it holds up for more than a couple of years I will be a happy camper, although I really hope it can go for longer than that. Regardless, my initial impression is very good and it does seem higher quality than most other dehumidifiers of this type. #sweepstakes

This is my 2nd purchase of the same unit. After running 24/7 for 5 years, the first gave out. I am very impressed that the original lasted that long. Not much these days running all the time can last.

Compared to others, this unit condenses a lot of water, but the catch water bucket is poorly designed. Do not attempt to carry it by the handles, which can easily fall off when emptying and damaging the float.

Friedrich 35 pint dehumidifier is just the right size for our basement and was easy to carry.

Poor product longevity and customer service this time.

We purchased this dehumidifier from Sylvane just over 2 years ago. We tried to use it this spring and it does not condense water. Friedrich did not offer a cost effective warranty solution for us.

I would buy this product again.

Easy operation easy set up and noticeably dryer in my basement built in pump is very convienent was able to route the tube into my drain for my washing machine so no dumping a tank every day

How do you get it to work.

Did not understand the manual. Had help to connect the tube for the water to drain. Now it works well.

Great dehumidifier for the crawl space!

I use this in my crawl space, which is about 4 feet high. It does an excellent job of keeping the humidity between 40 and 46%. It's a god send. I'm very allergic to mold. It has completely cleaned up that space. No musty odors and I can go in there now and my nose doesn't plug up. Yeah!

Unit is hesitant to start after bucket is drained. If continuous draining, some water stays in unit.

This is my second Friedrich dehumidifier. It so much more than others and is almost upkeep free.
