Does not give out cool air in any mode

For $350+ you would think that it would blow cool air on the snowflake mode. No cool air to be had. Just a BIG Blower fan, that is noisy.

Cheap Product

The evaporative cooler looks nice. However, the quality of the product is very bad. One of the plastic caster wheels broke within a few months. The wheels are tiny and difficult to roll over standard tile. The socket the wheels fit into are not a standard size and difficult, if not impossible to replace without breaking the plastic legs. Using it in the home requires rolling it to a water source to fill up. The water fill panel is very small and not easy to see when it is nearing full capacity.

I would not purchase this product again

There would be nothing of importance with this product. It does not cool a room small or otherwise. It is loud and I would not recommend this unless used outside.

[Rewarded Review] LEAKS Horribly - Do Not Buy

We purchased this cooler from Best Buy and set it up according to instructions. After two hours of operation we noticed that it had leaked onto the floor where it was setting and soaked and nearby carpet. We saw after BestBuy refunded our money that there was already a bad review due to the leaking on BestBuy's website. We added our review to BestBuy listing. Now when we come back a month later we see that BestBuy has removed both of the bad ratings and left only a five star review. Black marks fro both BestBuy for hiding the poor product and Honeywell for designing a bad product.

[Rewarded Review] Honeywell - 470 CFM Indoor Evaporative Air Cooler

This Air Cooler works well where I am located (Northern East Coast); originally, I was concerned as the Humidity is exceedingly high in my state. I primarily use this unit in my Bedroom and this Air Cooler unit does cool the room significantly compared to the rest of the house with the Central Air running. For some reason, my bedroom does not cool down with the Central Air. This unit vents cooler air and circulates throughout the room. I am extremely happy with this unit!

Nothing cold at all

I wish I could return. The fan does nothing to my small living room, my friend got Hessaire it’s better.

Stopped working

I bought this last summer. Cleaned it up to start use in 2022 pump not pumping fan motor burned up called customer service don’t make replacement parts. Not a good product.

Works Great

I bought this as an emergency buy when my A/C broke and couldn't get it repaired ASAP. It definitely saved the day. I put ice water in it and really cools a room down fast. Now that the emergency is over, I still us eit through the home when i want a cool breeze in a hot room or area. We set our A/C at 78 and this make the room feel like 70. I take gallon water containers and put them in the freezer for a couple of hours and pour them in and a nice cool breeze throughout the room. It holds almost 8 gallons and has a water low light. Better than any regular fan during the summer. The unit rolls so easy to move around the house. Quality unit and worth the price. It has a remote, but not really needed in my case. Completely satisfied and a positive out of an emergency.

Loud yet efficient

It’s very efficient and holds lots of water, meaning less refills. It is quite loud though, so I hope you have a great speaker system.

Leaking Unit

I bought it and actually cooled pretty good. The breeze it blew out was fresh and cooled my area great. But after 40 days with the unit, I started noticing small puddles of water and then on the 50th day with it I noticed a bigger puddle of water. I turned the unit around to try and pin point. Well, it turns out that the honeycomb gets wet, then slowly started to get the filter wet and then starts to leak on the lower left hand side. So I ended up calling Honeywell and found out it's a known issue. So I returned to Lowe's. Disappointed because I was actually hoping this cooler worked just as good as my outdoor Honeywell Cooler....

Just a big expensive fan

This is just a big fan. It drops the temperature about 1 degree in an 80 degree room. Waste of money.

It Stinks

After a little over one month of use it started to reak of wet dog smell and it is so gross. I dont even have any animals and I did the recommended 15 mins of fan without cooling each time I turned it off but it stinks so bad. Wanted to return it but its been a little over one month and the return window has closed.

It's a great portable cooler. I've used it every night since it arrived. I sleep easier and the bonus moisture helps the sinus. It's very hot in Utah and while our central air works fine, it's just not enough at night when you need constant air circulating.

Cooler Leaks Water

After using for one month it started leaking water. Called the 800 # and they told me to return it to the store I bought if from. Also the unit is loud and only does an okay job of cooling off the room.

The unit seemed to work well although we only tried it once because it was so loud. We knew we couldn’t hear the tv or conversation well and it would be difficult to sleep, so we returned it.

I like the tower shape. It still holds a lot of water, 3 gallons. It cools beautifully and is pretty quiet. I’ve only used it a couple of times and am very pleased so far.

There does not seem to be any cooling of the room taking place. It is a very powerful fan, but the room is no cooler with it on or off. Will probably return the unit.
