Horrible customer Service

Lowes return policy is a scam. No returns after 48 hours. I didn't get my hood for months. Some things you can't decide without seeing them first. Shame on you LOWE's. You lost this customer forever! ZERO STARS

Looks high end

Looks clean and high end. I enjoy the slow ramp up of the fan. The Bluetoothconnectivity with the cooktop is a great feature. Much quieter then our microwave over range vent

Great ventahood!

This is my first vent hood and what a difference it makes! I've always had a microwave vent hood in the past that didn't really do anything. The lights are bright. It is powerful but not overly loud. It comes with a remote control too.

Nice. but the grease baffles are about 1/2 inch too short

Seems to be a nice product, but the grease baffles are inordinately too easy to fall out, with only about 1/8" overhang and no notch the secure the baffle's position (i.e., to keep it from accidentally falling out of the unit). The baffles need to be at least 1/2 inch deeper to allow for worry-free operation. One accidental bang into the hood and the baffles, which aren't light, will fall onto the cooking surface below and damage either the cooking surface or the baffles, or both. If the baffle(s) fall out, that negates anything good about the product. Sure hope GE has a solution for this.

Even salmon smell goes away

My wife and I have cooked salmon our whole lives. And it always stinks up the joint. Until now, that is. Moved into a new house last month and fired up the salmon in the oven for the first time. Started to smell fish when my wife yells at me to turn on the fan in the hood. I had no idea there was three fan settings. Put it on high and the fish stink was gone. Just like that. Will we eat more fish now? Yes. Should we? Probably not.

Sucks really well

I haven't cooked anything major yet. But the fan seems to suck really well. I like the 4 speeds, but not sure I would ever need boost mode, it sounds like an airplane taking off! I love the look and so far how it works. I have it scheduled for the lights to be on at certain times and we hooked it up to our Alexa for hands free usage when cooking. I can't give it 5 stars yet until I use it more.

Missing Hardware

After a long new home construction build, I am finally installing kitchen cabinets. I actually purchased this exhaust fan along with several other GE products. Excited to open my first box, I have found that I am missing the “Hardware Bag”. I am not exactly sure what the contents of the “Hardware Bag” are but I am guessing a variety of screws and hopefully some type of mounting hardware or brackets. Once installed, I hope to add additional pictures.

BEWARE!!!!

Wouldn't fit! Specs incorrect! Cabinet company had to remake cabinet. Can't touch vents without them falling. When trying to catch falling vents the sharp edges laid my finger open. I regret the purchase. Horrible design! Is there a way to lock in vents?

Loving this Vent Hood!!

I bought this vent hood with my GE Cafe suite! Custom built the hood surround and it was good to go. It works extremely well and is not nearly as loud as some others I've seen. The remote is an added bonus (although not necessary) Absolutely love the look of it installed as well. Easy to clean! Great compliment to the 36" Cafe Commercial RangeTop!

Great design and pleased!!

Love this hood. Has 3 settings and the lowest setting is so quiet. Does the job fantastically and looks great. I love the fact the filter comes off and can be washed and cleaned. The remote is an xtra plus. The only issue I had was that it took almost 6 months for it to arrive. Otherwise love the quality and very pleased.

Works great - Wi-Fi features miss the mark.

The unit was easy to install and is easy to operate. It looks professional and works wonderful. It has a full slate of wi-fi features but the App is clunky and i bought a GE range that has Wi-Fi features and guess what... Chef connect only works on Bluetooth and does not work between these units. Talk about a let down. I was hoping to have a smart kitchen. It is really a kitchen that is controllable through apps but has not lateral knowledge of each other. What a miss. At least let the range control the range hood over Wi-Fi... The range hood is great but make sure you go over the features thoroughly if you plan to use Chef connect or wi-fi features. I still love the range hood though.

Works great!

We waited a long time for this piece to arrive. Order was placed in late March and it didn't arrive until mid September. By that time our installers (new build) were all on new projects and thus install was going to be an additional several weeks later, so we installed it. It is heavy and no easy task to install. The blower on the highest setting is loud, but if you use low or medium it's almost like white noise. The lights are bright and easily light up the cooking surface below.
