Happy with my purchase

I’m very pleased with my new GE cooktop. This is the second glass cooktop I have owned. I especially like the specialty burners. The two power boil burners bring a large pot of water to boil quickly, the keep warm burner holds food at just the right temperature and the melt burner works perfectly for melting foods like chocolate and cheese. I recommend this cooktop.

Sad that I bought it!

Scratched horribly from a nonstick pan bottom with the very first use! I have to scrub/clean/polish every time it's used. I have had glass top stoves for the last 20 years and I've never had this problem. Very disappointed!

Easy to Install.

Superbly packed and easy to install by myself. We were lucky enough to have a virtually identical (older model) GE cooker top, so this one just slipped in the same space and wired up in its place.

Switched from a gas cook top to this electric cook top and so far I have been very satisfied. My exhaust fan does not vent to the outside so an electric cook top was safer from a health standpoint. I had been a gas cook top user and I was pleasantly surprised with my elecric appliance

Very Sleek Appearance

Very clean appearance and easy surface to clean. I have only used it three times, but so far so good. I like the displays for burner in use and those that are cooling down. The only thing I would like to be different so far is for the temperature indicators around the control knob to be darker for easier visibility and a clearer indicator of medium and low. Otherwise, it is just a matter of learning and adapting.

This year my wife and I decided to update our kitchen by replacing some of our 40 year old appliances. Installation was a breeze. It looks great with the rest of our kitchen, and works like it should..

Beautiful glass top, first time purchase! So far so good, I’ve cooked a few times and just purchased a cleaner specific to the glass top. Looking forward to using it for years to come

Not as Depicted

The cooktop was ordered as depicted that is black on black (black knobs). GE shipped unit with dark brown knobs.

The knobs on the cooktop are supposed to be black. Instead they are dark brown.

I don’t think for the price you could ask for any

Helpful, friendly employees get the job done

Love the customer service at Lowe’s. We started our shopping at the orange apron big home store, We went to 2 of those stores and were met with less than friendly employees who clearly couldn’t have cared less if they made the sale. We drove past probably 2-3 more of those stores on our way to Lowe’s. We were met with really helpful and friendly employees, who ordered us the cooktop, set up delivery for $29.00 and made sure we had all the information we needed within 20 minutes. Well worth the drive.
