Happy With Purchase

This refrigerator has replaced the same (or close to it) model. Since I was happy with the old one decided to purchase same. The newer model has the ice maker on the door freeing up shelf space which is nice.

Nice frig. Second go around.

Enjoy this ge profile frig. This is our second and purchased based on experience with previous frig. This model is quieter than our 5 year old profile. Love the addition ice maker in freezer.

No quality and usability

Very disappointed in the quality and usability of this refrigerator. Bought online and had it delivered. What a mistake to trust GE profile as a premium product. Tried to match our other appliances but something has clearly changed with GE profile product since 5 to 10 years ago. I would advise folks to evaluate this in person and you will quickly walk away when you compare to other options.

Has GREAT features and lots of space

Refrigerator rating

Overall, product is good, but has a few problems. I do not like the requirement to buy overpriced GE water filters just to have water at the tap.

Not 100% happy customer

Cold refrigeration is excellent, freezer works great, ice-maker zero problems, but the water auto-fill is not reliable, it sets itself on whenever it wants, it very dangerous feature, it can easily flood your kitchen floor. The inside shelves are cheaply made, the edges cracked within one year, and are very pricey to replace. I've called and complained about the autofill water dispenser and they only give me instructions on how to thaw out the fridge by uplugging it and the dispenser will reset... still having issues.

We love our new refrigerator. The double doors are so convenient. And there’s so much room. Ice maker is so handy. The refrigerator is very quiet.

Good value

So far, so good. Purchased from Costco online, speedy delivery and installation. A bit disappointed with the narrow depth of the bins on the left side of the refrigerator; the interior lighting is very nice.

I had to replace my Kenmore refrigerator. This was an excellent choice. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Love the auto fill feature and the temperature adjustment for drinks on the lower level,maintains temperature well

Does keep cold enough

Set to coldest setting but food in freezer somewhat soft. Less than 4 years old. Was fine for first year but having to replace far to early.

Great features but 1st refrig was faulty

I love the features and size. The extra in -freezer icemaker produces very few and small cubes at a time. The 1st refrig delivered 10 days ago didn’t cool in 48 hours and had a bad compressor. Replacement seems to be working. Bought from smaller appliance store meant faster replacement time, 2 days vs GE's estimated 7-10 days.

Not holding proper temperature

Delivery & customer service great but fridge will not go below 40 degrees same as another reviewer stated. Just closed freezer and water came pouring out of dispenser area. Disappointing as we loved our last GE. GE replacing but we are now contemplating getting another refrigerator altogether. It is spacious and we do love the slate finish.
