Great choice for a small room

Really good unit. Super quiet. Cools our 12 x 15 room well. WiFi control from the LG app is great. We have other LG appliances and it’s great to control everything with one app. Not the least expensive but worth it in my opinion.

quiet & efficient. good fan operation.

A very expensive a/c. Gave it 4 stars due to the cost but 5 stars for operation. This is a big 6k btu a/c due to its dual inverter technology/mechanics. Wish it had a better warranty .No drip hole for condensation run off but its technology is supposed to deal with it thru evaporation however from time to time a water gurgling noise can be heard. I believe if consumer wanted the condensation to drip out, there may be a small plug that can be removed from the bottom of the unit. I recommend this unit if you can comfortably afford it.

Cool LG Air Conditioner!

So far, so good, but I've only had this air conditioner for about a month. Very quiet and cools well. 6000 BTUS is fine for my bedroom which is under 200 sq ft. Air conditioners usually start out well, but I will see how long it goes without problems. I expect a new air conditioner to last about 10-15 years. I also like that this air conditioner has no open vents on top.

The unit arrived damaged in a box that was open and not fully taped shut. Looked like a used unit that that someone had returned and they repackaged it to resell it.

Great a/c!

Works great! Quiet, efficient, easy to maintain. Was a little tough to set up but I had never set up an a/c unit before so I think that was the main issue. Would absolutely recommend.

Quiet, efficient, and value for the price

Almost silent. It keeps the room at a constant temperature with none of the swings felt with a regular compressor. Extremely energy efficient.

Good but bit noisy IMO

Good for smaller room but bit noisy. Started out more quiet but after 3 weeks in heat wave, seems a bit louder. Not drastic, more like a white noise in background.

Great machine: quiet, even temp, dehumidifies well

I’m extremely happy with my LG. It’s very quiet, the temperature is extremely even and it dehumidifies better than my past machines.

Quiet and Programmable

Very QUIET for sleeping and with Wifi can be scheduled, straight forward operation and cools our bedroom in about 10 minutes. We use in conjunction with our central air—why have to cool the whole house to 70 degrees in order to get the bedroom to a comfortable sleeping temp?

Best small window air conditioner available

This is a very quiet and efficient window air conditioner. I almost did not buy it because the description said 230-Volt. I hope someone will fix the description. It plugs into a regular 15 amp household outlet. It is the only 6000 BTU (smallest efficient one available) air conditioner to win the Energy Star most efficient 2024 award. It is plenty big for any room in our house.

Quiet, but you can't disable the loud beeps

The AC is quiet, but you can't disable the loud beeps every time you change the mode, setting, temperature, etc. We bought this mainly because we have a baby that needs a quiet room, but unfortunately we can't change any settings without it making the loud beep and waking her up. Ironic...

This is a very large heavy unit for its 6K BTU size. I had to return it because I couldn't install it myself as I do with other 6-8K units. My fault for not checking the measurements before I purchased this. The return was easily setup but I did have to pay $74 for return shipping.

I use this unit in my bedroom and I really enjoy how quiet it is, especially on the low fan speed. I chose this model for the higher CEER rating and have been impressed with its airflow and ability to cool the room. Pairing with the LG app was fairly easy, but I prefer to just use the remote which is responsive.

LG Air Conditioner

Thinking back on all of my past air conditioner purchases this one ranks as #1 best purchase. It is quieter then expected which is a plus as it is being used in the bedroom. It cools perfectly, the air deflector louvers adjust to exactly the right positions for me. The controls are easy to understand as is using the remote. I still haven't figured out how to get it to connect to wifi but I guess I'll eventually get that sorted.

Very good so far

Remarkably quiet, cools our 170 sq ft bedroom quickly and without creating a wind-tunnel. We have used it only once since taking delivery in May, so I may have more to say later. This unit replaced a ten-year-old Friedrich, which performed well but was noisy (howled, actually) and lacked the inverter feature, which I think is the only way to go now that it's available. Regarding installation: We live in a 12th-floor Manhattan apartment, so we had the building superintendent install it -- even if I were handy I wouldn't want the liability of doing it myself -- so I cannot say whether it is easy to install. Working carefully and methodically -- and using a brace (not supplied) outside the window plus a piece of heavy angle-iron (also not supplied) behind the unit's upper flange to make the unit's falling out of the window virtually impossible -- he took about a half hour to install.
