This is our second Maytag dryer for our second home. Love the reliability and quality.

I bought a Maytag because my last washer and dryer were from Maytag. The washer was over 30 years old and we used it almost everyday. It was a work horse! Excellent product. When, the dryer's heating element went (also 30 yrs old); we decided to get new Maytags. The new machine started having issues 6 months after purchase. $1636 were spent bc of brand trust for problems. I wish we would have kept the old machine and just fixed the dryer. Sadly, Maytag is not what it use to be. Lots of plastic parts and broken in 6 months. The drain pump stopped working and the machine started leaking.

Unfortunately ours was broken out of the box. Water ran all over the floor the first day it was installed when we ran the steam cycle to make sure it worked.

I got this dryer about 2 weeks ago. It does a good job drying at normal cycle. I still have to figure out how to do a good dry cleaning and dry delicate stuff.

Great to have new appliances. Only thing so far I would change is when the wash is finished the buzzer is not very loud. My old Maytag had a great loud buzzer

Very inconsistent

Either the dryer has fried my clothing, or (more often) clothes remain wet at the end of the cycle. I’ve had problems since day 1.

The degree of drying is erratic and the clothing is left slightly damp after the regular or the normal cycle is completed The machine works well if the time dry cycle is used but energy efficiency is lost.

My new Maytag front load gas dryer far exceeds my expectations. It provides multiple drying options and is easy to operate. It’s so quiet that I forget it’s running. Everyone that has seen it “oohs and awes.” It will be a part of our house hold for decades. Beautiful and so efficient!

Disappointed. Dryer cycle sounds like a bass drum. Control knob and buttons feel like very cheap plastic. Expected better quality from Maytag for this price.

I've been wanting to purchase this for a while I got a good deal on it It matches the washer controls took a little getting used to They were similar to the washer it Similar to the washer it dries very well And I like the fact that the lint screen is made Of metal and not nylon The install was easy Changing the door around was easy it just took a little Overall I'm very satisfied with this dryer, And there is plenty of room inside I can dry my bedspread
