Solid toilet - seat is not included as pictured

Toilet arrived in good condition. All pictures of toilet include seat, but it is not included with this product.

It's a toilet that is smaller, that is it is lower and takes less space in the small bathroom, than the one in the house we bought. Nothing special, except its the Brand our Plumber recommended. He was happy and our family is happy too. As a dual flush, I think it is barely enough in #2 Mode so I hold the button down. #1 mode is great for the minimal clear one wants. And the flush is pretty quiet so middle of the night it wakes no one.

One toilet came without the necessary coupe of required parts. Contacted American Standards, they sent wrong parts. Contacted them again and still waiting for parts to arive.

[Rewarded Review] American Standard Dual Flush Toilet

I was replacing current AS Dual flush. We have had it for several year and it work well. Tank developed a hairline crack that was weeping. The first replace came smashed. The based was crushed. Had to wait another 2 weeks. I am not sure if the manger clicked on wrong one when reordering, but we now have a standard height which is about 4 inches lower. However, I like the design of the new tank better. It is lined and seald with a quarter inch of Styrofoam. You can drop chlorine tablet in tank, but it does provide reinforcement and should prevent sweating in hot and humid reagions.

This toilet was easy to install. It rplaced a 64 year old round bowl toilet at our lake home. This new toilet is more comfortable and functions as described and will be easier on the septic system as it uses much less water to operate efficiently.

Low-flush does the job - 2 yrs and no problems

I purchased this toilet in April 2019 for both our bathroom renovations. It was the only dual-flush toilet with a low profile I could find anywhere. I have short legs and I’m not a big fan of having my feet dangle while sitting, anywhere. I had my doubts about the performance of a toilet with such a low GPF, concerned that it wouldn’t be able to “do the job” completely. After 2 years of hard use, I can confidently say that this toilet has been able to handle everything we’ve thrown at it. The low GPF water volume has plenty of power and has performed completely every time. We’ve had no need to double flush at all. I would be happy to purchase this product again.

Highly recommend. It not only looks good, but saves a ton of water & works great. Purchased this same model for a different bathroom, over 4 yrs ago, and was so pleased with it, that I chose it again. It was professionally installed the first time around, but this time, was easily installed by my brother in under an hour. Just wish it included a good seat. Last time I wasn't thrilled with their seat recommendation, but this time around I was very pleased with the slow closing lid I purchased.

Very easy to install. It came with everything you need for installation, except the wax ring. The float inside the tank came set correctly, so no configuration was required. Although, the plungers for the #1 and #2 buttons on the lid of the tank need to be set to the correct height. Very good suction/vacuum!

Excellent toilet!I was looking for a toilet that wouldn't clog. So far so good! The bowl surface is really different from that of a regular toilet. You can feel it is much more smooth when cleaning the bowl with a brush. Siphon action is not as loud as I was expecting. It seems not as powerful as toilets in office buildings have, but works fine. The insides of the tank were already assembled when shipped, so installing was easy. The liner is simply a layer of styrofoam, nothing fancy. Overall, great product!
