Overall, it has the lowest use of 4.2 AMPS of any window unit on the market; yet has the highest SEER rating 11.5 of any 5,000 BTU on the market. If your ceiling is 8 ft tall it will cool more like 250 sq ft instead of 150 sq ft, which has been our experience with this unit :))

The product fit nicely in our small window and keeps our Grandson's 12x16 building that is his personal hang out and work space nice and cool even on hot days. Delivery was very timely. When you live in rural areas that is important.

When I originally ordered this it showed 10,000 btu in the description so that’s what I thought I was gonna get but ended up with a 5,000 btu,but it works pretty good my feedback for Wayfair is to make sure text is correct next time other then that I’m happy with purchase

Great little a/c

I got this to replace a Danby window a/c unit that stopped working after 1 year due to some sort of fault with the digital control panel. I don’t have to worry about that with this unit because there is no digital control panel. It’s a very simple unit with two switches and a dial: a power switch, a switch to turn the fan to high or low, and the dial to control how cold you want your air. Let me tell you, for a 5000 btu unit, this little thing is a beast! It cools great, sometimes too good. Don’t turn it all the way up unless you want to freeze! It is also pretty quiet, even when the fan is on high. It’s an all-around nice, affordable little unit. I bought one for a small downstairs bedroom, and now I’m buying a second one for an upstairs bathroom. I’m very pleased with my selection.

Not sure if there is enuf room for us to tell what we think. My husband and I were shopping for a 10,000 BTU a/c because of the size of the room. The Wayfair ad was listed for a 10,000 BTU. Then Wayfair kept shipping us 5,000 BTU air conditioners (three times) until the manager of customer service finally figured it out. Then, I was told LG posted the ad and they were responsible for the error and she would call them. Ya know what? We never got the courtesy of an update. Guess what we did get. A refund. Wayfair customer service are cowards.

I believe it was mishandled un shipping, oil was all over the a/c unit and the box, made me afraid to plug in and try it out, after assembling, and getting it into the window only to find that it did not blow air at all, I called immediately and your customer service dept did great and credited my account, however my down payment was not returned to my debit card of 48$.

These units were mislabeled on this listing as 10,000 BTUs, I ordered two of them for my grandparents house after their central air compressor went bad as a cost saving measure because a replacement cost too much. After receiving I promptly installed the units in their bedroom and living room and they complained of lack of cooling power, I figured they were wrong but while installing weather sealing tape on the sides of the units the next day the stickers caught my eye and both units are labeled as 5,000 BTU units. When returning to this listing to check they were still labeled as 10k BTU on my order page but when clicking the listing page they are now relabeled to 5,000 BTU, see attached images. This listing is misleading and predatory and I am not extremely upset with this purchase.
