This is our second heat pump dryer and first GE. Way nicer than our other one. Better design and easier to clean the lint out.

This is roomy for a small dryer and has many different cycles. It comes with a rack for drying shoes or hats. It does a great job in a short amount of time. Best Buy installed it in 15 minutes.

Don’t buy GE

Horrible dryer… good when it worked… most of the 3 1/2 yrs I’ve owned it, it doesn’t dry..

No more moving the washer to clean out the vertical dryer duct every 6 months. Lower heat is MUCH gentler on my clothes. While my first dryer of this model only lasted just over a year, as a new production line I half expected that. The second failed just under 5 years. I am buying this third one in faith that the bugs of the early models have been worked out at this point - but I again got the extended warranty in case there are still issues.

Just started first load, it stopped an hour into the dry cycle. Turned on the power and continued the cycle.

Great Product

We love this space saving machine. Ours has the drain hose so that we don’t ever need to empty the reservoir. Drying time is not as long as we would’ve thought. We keep our loads about medium and have not yet had to repeat a drying cycle.

Works great! The virtual buttons and options are very easy to use. The water condenser emptier is very easy.

Replacement

I replaced an old GE dryer. The new one definitely dries the clothes better, faster and with less wrinkles. I live in a condo so need a ventless. Emptying the water reservoir is no big deal. It’s small, as was the old one. So is my washer, so I do small loads.

The Combination washer and Stackable ventless dryer have worked excellently well since we got it. I’m quite impressed with the innovations for the collection of water from the dryer as compared to our old Bosch dryer. It seems that they have tackled some of the problems of a ventless dryer system it works very well and I don’t need to run it many times through the dryer in order to get it clothes to dry. I’m thrilled with it!

Great dryer

Great dryer without venting. It does get hot but just have to watch the settings. Very well designed for a small space and it is energy efficient. Highly recommend.

24 inch dryer

So far so good. Needed a dryer small enough to fit through our small 25 inch doorway. Stacked nicely on the matching washer. Love the light in side when you open the door.

Love It! Exceeds Expectations

This is my first ventless dryer and I love it. Sits in kitchen in my apartment, the slim design is a space save. I was a bit concerned about load capacity but it accommodate my King sized sheets and thin blanket just fine.

As a contractor, this was the first time purchasing this dryer for a client and comparing it to the Bosch ventless dryer it seems to be just as good if not better. What I like most about this dryer is that you can either drain the front tray of water after each use or easily attach the small drain hose in the back and run it into the house drain and not have to worry about emptying the tray. So depending on your individual install setup it’s versatile in this way. It also has a receptacle in the back to plug your washing machine into which was convenient since we purchased the matching washing machine which the dryer stacked on top. The controls are intuitive and it’s fairly quiet when it’s drying. Overall happy with the dryer and so is the customer!

Long term durability and servicing - buyer beware

We've had this appliance for just 3 years. It's giving an E1 error code which the manual says is an inlet thermistor short or failure. Can't find replacement parts for an inlet thermistor. I believe it may be part of the heater assembly although GE has not been able to provide that information. GE's service team says they can't help in our area (Denver) because the unit is beyond the one year warranty. An independent repair company quotes $400 to repair with no guarantee of success.
